Our Christmas Eve Service will be a Christingle service. It will begin at 4.30pm and we will make the Christingles during the service, all materials and items to make them will be provided. It is a lovely service and especially so for children. Once, the Christingles are made we darken the church and standing in a circle we light each others candles, one by one, and as the light grows it depicts the light of Jesus spreading around the world.
The service will finish at about 5.15pm and will be followed by mince pies and coffee/tea and will give those, who so wish, time to go out to the market place in time for the town’s Nativity.
